We are a charity that leads with empathy to support young people who have experienced trauma. We build on their strengths, create trusted relationships and provide them with work experience. We also work with them to influence and change the systems they once were in (health, justice, care services)

Youth services (health, justice, social care) for those 'most at risk' lack empathy by not involving young people in their design and do not always create trusted relationships with the young people. Thus, young people who have experienced trauma (abuse, exclusion or inequalities) can sometimes struggle to engage with these services, failing to create positive change. This means that young people do not get the help they need and public money is being lost on services struggling to reach them.
We solve it through both individual and system change. Through the former we offer young people with lived experience support in wellbeing, training, education and work experience, using a person-centred and holistic approach. Through the latter we work with young people to improve the quality of the youth services they were once in by co-producing and co-delivering training to professionals to teach empathy-led practices and co-writing recommendations on current standards and procedures
