It's about time unpaid carers were recognised valued and supported! Unpaid carers save the UK economy a whopping £162 BILLION in social care costs each year!. Without their many hours of unpaid service our already stretched system may collapse entirely. It is vital we support them.

What can start out as some extra errands each week can quickly turn into a 24/7 caring role. Carers become isolated, lonely, stretched financially often sacrificing their own physical and mental health and wellbeing in favour of the person they are caring for. Ever increasingly we see working carers trying to juggle a full time job on top of full time caring responsibilities with little or no support from the state or their employers.
Solution
CSW is a registered charity helping unpaid carers of all ages in Wiltshire to access services, information, education, training, activities, respite and breaks from their caring role. We ensure carers have a voice and work with health and social care professionals and employers to raise awareness of the practical and mental health struggles faced by carers and endeavour to reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness.
