"One Final Time - a Father and Son Story" is about Andy and his son Paul; the bond shared between them and the value of spending those quality moments together that we all take for granted - never expecting that the last time could also become the final time.

Wakefield Hospice is at the heart of our community, supported for over 34 years by the generosity of local people who have helped to make the best of every moment, every day, for patients like Paul and his family. Wakefield, however, is one of the most deprived areas in England and during these financially uncertain times our supporters are facing their own difficulties and donations have fallen. To safeguard the exceptional care and support families receive, we need additional financial support

Our ‘One Final Time’ appeal aims to raise £20,000 to fund local hospice care. Paul was aged just 47 years old when he died at Wakefield Hospice. The greatest gift we provided Paul during his stay was the gift of time: quality time to spend with his loved ones, time to create priceless memories with his children and even the chance to enjoy the rugby and a pint of Guinness with his dad – one final time. Donating to our “One Final Time” appeal will help us to be here for families like Paul’s.
