The joy of music should be accessible to everyone but too often socioeconomic barriers silence the potential of many young musicians. Picture a child, yearning to play their beloved instrument, but held back because of their family's limited finances, where the struggle is compounded by the relentless rise of living costs. The costs of pursuing music causes too many talented young musicians to give up their musical journey, deepening the inequality in the music and wider creative industries.

We provide vital support to young instrumentalists, singers, composers, and producers from low income families, helping them reach their musical potential. Our key criteria are musical talent and financial need Our Awards range from £100 to £2,000, offering flexible funding to meet each young person's needs. As well as vital funding, we also offer mentoring from professional musicians and inspiring music making opportunities such as workshops, masterclasses and performance opportunities.
