We provide free, healthy meals & wellbeing support to people in need across Edinburgh. We connect people to more support, to tackle other challenges they are facing. Since 2020, we have provided more than 2 million meals to people who need them. Give the gift of food this winter.

The least deprived 5th of the population must spend 50% of their disposable income to meet the cost of the Government’s recommended diet. For the least deprived 5th, it is only 11% of their income. We want to make healthy food accessible to everyone. Poverty does not occur in isolation, and the people we support are often facing underlying challenges. This can include mental health issues, physical disabilities, or surviving abuse. To end food insecurity, these root causes must be addressed.
People in poverty will receive healthy meals for 4 days a week. Meals will be delivered to people’s homes or to collection points, to make them easily accessible for all. They are packed with seasonal veg to make them as nutritious as possible. Meals give people the time and headspace to address other challenges in their lives. To help them with these challenges, our team will provide referrals to other services. This includes debt advice, mental health and domestic violence survivor support.
