We provide life-changing support to children and their families who have experienced trauma and abuse, and are living in poverty. We work long-term with families and develop bespoke packages of therapeutic interventions. Our work is about emotional recovery and breaking cycles of trauma & poverty.

The NHS estimates that 1 in 5 children experienced a probable mental health condition in 2023. Children face lengthy waiting times for statuary mental health services, and often cases are closed with no support offered. When it is offered, support is often short term and inadequate for complex trauma. These children are then referred to us, to avoid them slipping through the net. We develop person-centred bespoke packages of long-support support to treat the effects of childhood trauma.

The effects of trauma are complex and long-lasting. We work in a needs-led way, talking directly with children and families about the trauma they have experienced, how it has impacted on their lives and the kind of interventions and support they feel they would most benefit from. We then develop a panoramic package of support including therapy, enrichment, support with school and education, creating a safe home, wellbeing hubs for parents and carers and support with life admin.
