In remote areas of western Kenya, cataracts rob hard-working individuals of their sight, significantly impacting their daily lives and livelihoods. Imagine an elderly farmer, unable to tend their crops, or a child missing out on education because they can't see. These communities lack access to affordable cataract surgery, a simple procedure that restores vision.

Our project tackles preventable blindness in Kenya. By targeting remote areas, we are looking to offer sight-restoring cataract surgeries to 150 individuals. This critical procedure, unavailable due to poverty and distance, will transform lives. Our experienced team of locally trained staff have a fantastic track record of turning peoples' lives around through a simple procedure. £40 covers the costs involved in these procedures.
