As London's biggest cricket charity this funding will maintain and grow our community work. We provide young people with a free and safe place to gain access to our expert coaches, health & nutritional advise, learn key social skills and make new friends and connections within their community.

Access to Cricket: Our research shows that 83% of state primary school students would like to take up cricket in their own time but feel the sport is inaccessible. Health and Wellbeing: Improving young peoples physical & mental health through access to sport. Diversity: We will increase the number of children from disadvantaged and ethnic minority backgrounds participating in cricket. Personal & Social development: We will improve community & social cohesion, leading to less crime.

We will create a “Pop Up” youth cricket hub in the 10 focus areas, providing new, accessible opportunities for local children to take up the game. These will feature a minimum of 35% children living in poverty and a minimum of 70% children from Ethnic Minority backgrounds and a 50% gender split. Although cricket-focussed, sessions will include mentoring, fitness, team-building, problem-solving, multi-sport activities, competition and social events that enable a significant social impact.
