CFAB works to protect vulnerable children who have become separated from their families across international borders in often complex and dangerous situations. As the only UK charity with an international child protection team and partners in 130 countries, we can help where others can't.

Situation
With 1 in 3 children in the UK having a foreign born-parent, we estimate that almost a third of children in care have family that could and should be explored for their long-term care. We work to protect those who have become separated from their families in complex and often dangerous situations due to conflict, trafficking, migration or family breakdowns. Without CFAB they may remain in care, without links to their family, culture or heritage and unable to fulfil their potential.
Solution
Since 1955, CFAB has responded to global humanitarian crises to protect vulnerable children and their families. We are the only UK charity with a qualified team of international child protection professionals, and as the only UK member of the International Social Services, we have partners in over 130 countries. Alongside our direct case work, we run the UK’s only free Advice Line offering advice and practical guidance to protect children in need and provide refugee support services.
