75 years ago, our founders had a vision of wild open spaces for everyone. And they are still beautiful places – but where is the nature? Our Parks have been underfunded, polluted, burnt and eroded. Not a single river or lake in a National Park is in good overall health; the iconic Lake Windermere is full of sewage turning it toxic. Precious peatlands have been drained and burnt. Birds of prey are being persecuted. We need to turn things around; we must safeguard National Parks for the future.

People and Parks must be part of the solution, which is why we’re bringing together National Park Protectors - people from every generation and every part of the nation to fight to make National Parks better for nature, for a thriving, wilder future. Farmers and activists, walkers and community groups, school children and conservationists. Our unique role as the voice of National Parks means that we are gathering a new generation of campaigners for these precious place to call for change.
