200,000 babies are born with clubfoot every year. 80% do not receive treatment, leading to lifelong impairment. Since 2005 our network has treated over 390,000 children with clubfoot. We know how to create a world where all children born with clubfoot can walk, play and run free.

Situation
200,000 babies are born with clubfoot every year. 90% of these are born in Lower- and Middle-Income Countries (LMIC). 80% do not receive proper treatment and face a life of pain, stigma, and missed education and employment opportunities. It costs just $470USD to treat a child with the gold-standard Ponseti method but, due to lack of treatment accessibility, awareness, integration into health systems, and clinical resource, the majority of children are forced to live with untreated clubfoot.
Solution
Since 2005 our network of NGOs has treated over 390,000 children worldwide, using a proven model of service delivery. We have just launched RunFree2030, our strategy to scale up services globally, focusing on three key objectives: Accessibility, Quality Care, and Integration of clubfoot treatment into healthcare systems. RunFree2030 is a network of 60 NGOs in over 70 countries working to increase service availability and advocate for clubfoot to be recognised as a global health priority.
