1 in 4 women over 16 in England and Wales have been raped or sexually assaulted. This epidemic of abuse needs urgent action. At Rape Crisis England & Wales, much of our existing funding is coming to an end in 2025, so we urgently need donations to help continue our work supporting survivors, pressuring the government for more action, and making sure survivors' voices are heard.

Situation
This November marks the 50th anniversary of the Rape Crisis movement in England and Wales. In the past 50 years, we've relentlessly pushed for better protections for women and girls, securing countless legislation wins and making sure that millions of survivors get the information and support they deserve. But with hundreds of thousands of women and girls still being raped or sexually assaulted each year, our work is far from over. And that’s why we need your help.
Solution
We want to transform attitudes about sexual violence and abuse, improve responses for all victims and survivors, and end sexual violence in all its forms. To do this, we: ● Believe victims and survivors, and help them to get their voices heard. ● Fight for victims and survivors to have access to specialist support. ● Raise awareness about the prevalence and impacts of sexual violence and abuse, and challenge rape culture. ● Influence change in all aspects of public policy relating to sexual violence and abuse. Your donations will enable us to continue this vital work.
