For nearly 40 years, The Nelson Trust has provided safe spaces and support for men and women impacted by substance use and unmet needs. We run four single-gender treatment centres for those in recovery, three recovery houses for those completing treatment, and three Hub enterprises offering work experience and life skills. Our nine women’s centres provide trauma-informed, holistic support to women and families facing domestic abuse, homelessness, criminal justice involvement, and other needs.

In all our work, we integrate a gender-responsive, holistic, and trauma-informed approach. With dedicated key workers and trained staff, we are committed to providing support, fostering lifelong recovery, and making a meaningful impact for everyone we support. As a growing organisation, we continuously adapt and evolve to meet the needs of our community.
