Our campaign brings hope and empowerment to Africans impacted by Parkinson's. Through monthly gatherings, we provide vital education, health resources, social interaction, and emotional support, building a united, caring community and transforming lives for patients, their carers and loved ones.

Situation
African countries face significant challenges in supporting Parkinson's patients, carers, and loved ones due to limited resources, stigma, and lack of knowledge. These hurdles lead to delayed diagnoses, poor health outcomes, and a heavy burden on public health services. Support groups can bridge some of these gaps by providing vital information and emotional support, significantly improving the quality of life for patients, carers, and loved ones, and fostering a sense of community and hope.
Solution
We will run monthly support groups for Parkinson's patients, carers, and loved ones across various African countries. These groups will provide culturally relevant educational resources, engaging activities, emotional support, and access to physical therapy. This holistic approach will offer resources and support that would otherwise be inaccessible to many, significantly improving the lives of those affected by Parkinson's disease.
