The cost-of-living crisis, rising mortgage rates, shortage of social housing, and high rents all contribute to the current increase in homelessness. We have seen a 55% rise in demand for our services in the last two years alone. Many of the people we support have poor physical or mental health, low educational attainment and little work experience. All will have suffered some level of trauma, including severe poverty, neglect, family breakdown, job loss or fleeing domestic abuse.

As Cambridge's only day service for rough sleepers, we will continue our vital services to meet increasing demand. Every day we offer free hot nutritious meals, washing facilities, clothing, and sanitary products. We provide guidance on housing, money & debt, education, training, work experience, and employment. Services include counselling, health and wellbeing support, a women-only service, immigration assistance, and a sports and social inclusion programme to combat isolation and loneliness.
