Situation
Teesside Hospice have supported local people since 1982. As younger people are now suffering and dying from long-term complex life-limiting illnesses, the demand for hospices is growing. Teesside Hospice is only one-third funded by the government and local ICB's; therefore, it costs £16,000 each day to provide all services for free. These services include: 10 Bed Inpatient, Wellbeing, Outreach, Bereavement Services and a Lymphoedema Clinic. Without public support, we would not be here.
Solution
Every penny made during the Making Memorable Moments Appeal will go towards the daily running costs of Teesside Hospice. With the public's support, we're trying to raise £50,000 so we can continue to support those dying of cancer and other terminal illnesses across Teesside. We want to create memories that will last a lifetime by helping people enjoy life, to the very end of life. Nobody should die scared or in pain. Pledge your support today and make a difference.
