This Christmas, Future Talent marks 20 years of supporting gifted young musicians from low-income backgrounds. We need your help to support 125 talented young musicians during our anniversary year via our Junior Programme for younger musicians and Development Programme for more advanced musicians.

Future Talent addresses the problem of the limited opportunities available to young, talented individuals from disadvantaged families in the field of music. Despite their potential, many lack the resources available to wealthier peers to develop their skills and pursue a passion for music. Financially disadvantaged children are often denied the chance to benefit from music-making, develop their musical, leadership and collaborative skills or pursue music as a career.

We offer means tested financial support of up to £2,000 to help pay for music costs including lessons, instruments and scores. We also provide a tailored annual programme of workshops, masterclasses, performing opportunities and mentoring from professional musicians. Our three Relationship Managers based in London, Birmingham and Manchester (who are professional musicians) provide the young people with personal advice and support, as well as organising the two programmes we offer each year.
