Growing Hope High Wycombe is a charity that provides free therapy for children with additional needs. We also provide support for their siblings and parents/carers. We are looking to raise funds in order to ensure the continued provision of therapy services to those who need our support.

Situation
16.6% of children have an additional need. These include physical and mental health, learning, and undiagnosed needs. Waiting list times and reduction in services within the NHS mean children with additional needs do not get the support they need to reach their full potential.
Solution
We aim to solve this problem in four ways. Firstly, through the provision of therapy services which currently include occupational, art, music and speech and language therapy. Secondly, we run groups for parents enabling them to process the change that additional needs means for their child’s life. Thirdly, we run siblings groups enabling siblings to process their experience of being a brother or sister of a child with additional needs. Finally, we offer prayer to those who want it.
