Our service users often have a web of interconnected problems, such as debt, addiction, ill health, and digital exclusion, which are keeping them trapped in a cycle of homelessness or poverty. They may be street homeless, experiencing severe mental illness or addiction, or be survivors of childhood abuse. For whatever reason, they are adults who do not have the resources to support themselves independently. They have been let down repeatedly and find it hard to trust.

Happy Days offers wraparound care to these vulnerable people, setting up a raft of referrals and interventions, and 'handholding' them until the client is ready to let go. We facilitate lasting change by enabling them to take advantage of services they are eligible for. At our Winter Shelter, we offer each resident a move-on tenancy and continue to support them to maintain it after they have left us. We build long-term relationships and earn our clients' trust with our unconditional care.
