The problems faced by adults with learning disabilities are multi-faceted. They include: - Social isolation / exclusion - Poor access to adult skills development - Health inequalities - Poor access to appropriate and independent support and information - Lack of confidence and independence These problems create a barrier for adults with learning disabilities to lead an enriched and fulfilled life.

To encourage socialisation, healthy relationships, and community engagement, we have weekly social clubs, volunteering opportunities, and the Great Friendship Course. To develop skills, we offer accessible courses and the Gateway Award. Our Health Awareness sessions educate and promote awareness of health issues and inequalities. We provide access to information via our Information, Advice, and Advocacy service (IA&A). We increase confidence and independence throughout our programme of services.
