The Eikon Charity is helping young people in Surrey to feel safe, heard and supported. We listen, we talk, and we help them with the skills they need to live their best life. And we work with families and professionals to make sure that everyone gets the support they need.

Growing up in today’s world can be incredibly challenging. Children face pressures their parents never had to, including the impact of social media, mobile devices, the legacy of the pandemic, and heightened anxiety about global issues. The evidence of the negative impact of these pressures is plain to see. In 2023, one in five young people had a probable mental health condition. We know that without help early on, challenges can escalate into serious concerns, sometimes with fatal consequences.

We create safe spaces where children can be themselves and talk. They understand better than anyone what's happening in their own lives, so we listen, without judging. We support them, and make sure they know where to get more help if they need it. We empower them to find the confidence and the skills they need to be safe and to thrive. We enable parents, carers, schools, and policymakers too, ensuring there is a strong network of support and care around young people.
