Pushing yourself out of your comfort zone and exploring the outdoors provides multiple health benefits, but disabled people are often unable to access these vital opportunities. As the cost-of-living crisis continues, a disabled household needs an extra £1,122/month on average to have the same standard of living as a non-disabled household. This means that disabled people miss out on outdoor adventure activities that are proven to have positive effects on physical, mental and social development.

Some limits may be real, but Bendrigg removes the ones that aren't. Our Subsidy Fund allows disabled people to access fully-inclusive adventures of a lifetime. On-site, individuals, families and groups can build their self-confidence and develop their skills at our specially-designed climbing wall, sports hall, bike track, archery range and indoor cave. Off-site, they can explore canoeing, caving and abseiling. Help challenge attitudes, break through limits and make extraordinary things happen!
