We want to double the level of our provision for Children and Young People (CYP) who are directly impacted by domestic abuse (DA) and increase the direct support available to women across the range of our services. We will add 25 hrs per week staff time to support that. Target £20,000 inc. on-cost.

2 women a week in England/Wales are killed by their current/ex-partner. Almost 1 in 3 women & 1 in 5 CYP experience DA. The Police receive a DA call every 30 seconds. DA has a significant long-term impact on the women/CYP subjected to it; affecting their mental, physical and emotional/psychological health and wellbeing, education attainment & employment. Almost 100% of our women have been subjected to financial abuse, many living in poverty with their children, we enable safety/freedom.
We provide holistic, trauma informed wraparound support, advice & advocacy to women at any stage of their healing journey, empowering them towards personal and economic independence, and lives free from abuse. We deliver longer-term support that enable sustainable outcomes for families. To enable early interventions, we raise awareness in the community & with businesses to prevent, reduce and end DA. We have a reputation for delivering meaningful outcomes and need increased resource to do more.
