We are raising funds to organise an amazing day out for people with facial paralysis (FP) and their families so that they can meet other people with this condition - something many will never have had the opportunity to do - and to help them see that they are not alone on this journey.

Many people with facial palsy (FP) have never had the opportunity to meet another person with this condition. Our research has shown that this can lead to feelings of isolation and can have a serious effect on people's self-confidence. Our family days offer the chance for people with FP to meet others like them and it makes such a difference to them to know that they are not the only one. This funding will allow us to offer this opportunity to both adults and children in 2025.
We will organise a family day at a UK location where both adults and children with FP can enjoy a fantastic day out and socialise in a fun, relaxed setting with other people who share their experiences and know how hard it is to live with the challenges of this condition. We have run multiple events in the past for children with FP at theme parks, zoos and other locations, and we would love to make our next one available to adults with FP too as we did in 2023.
