Access to nature makes us healthier, happier, and kinder to our environment. That’s why we’ve been bringing people together to nurture the nature in their neighbourhoods for over 40 years. With your support we can connect and empower more people to create thriving local green spaces.

We’re facing climate change, nature loss and public health crises. Green space provides a solution. Spending time in nature improves physical and mental health and makes us more likely to protect our environment. Yet people are increasingly disconnected from nature and 1 in 3 of us can’t access good quality green space within 15 minutes of home. Worries about safety, accessibility and issues around feeling unwelcome can all be barriers which prevent people from visiting green space near them.

Earth Trust and its community are guardians to a growing number of Oxfordshire’s green spaces close to where people live, work and play. We’re experts in bringing together communities to care for and engage with the nature in their neighbourhoods. By sharing the expertise of our land management team, and nurturing our passionate and growing community of 230+ regular volunteers, we’ll provide more people with the skills, tools and passion needed to build thriving nature-rich local green spaces.
