Many children who stammer experience bullying, isolation, and low self-esteem, leading to limited social, educational, and career opportunities. Families often struggle to find adequate resources and guidance to support their children’s needs. Action for Stammering Children*addresses this by offering tailored programmes, and vital resources to families, young people, and professionals working with children who stammer to build confidence and resilience when navigating education and career options.

Action for Stammering Children provides information, resources and practical programmes to ensure young people can thrive. Through the Stammering Support Hub, we empower families and young people with the knowledge they need to seek out local services and access our projects. Our residential stammering courses and Youth Panel programme, foster supportive peer networks and build resilience. Our Career Mentoring Scheme gives young people the tools and practical support to achieve their ambitions.
