Situation
It can be tough for young people growing up in central London. The majority of Children at St Andrew’s are from low-income families, who cannot afford to pay for childcare. Without St Andrew’s young people are at risk of becoming disengaged, socially isolated and developing poor mental health. Young people need a safe and supportive space to continue their development outside of schools to gain essential skills, personal resilience and a sense of belonging.
Solution
St Andrew’s is a safe place where children feel secure and supported. In action seven days a week, with daily sports, creative and well-being activities, young people enjoy experiences they would otherwise have access to. Our team of experienced Youth Workers help children to gain new skills, support their mental health and social development. At the Club, young people are supported from 5-18 providing consistent support and sense of belong, to help them become well rounded and capable adults.
