Ataxia is an umbrella term for a group of rare and progressive neurological conditions. It affects coordination, balance, movement & the muscles used for speech and vision. There is no cure. But there is hope! We are closer than ever to seeing treatments for ataxia in the UK with one already approved in the EU and US and others are close to being ready for approval. But there are barriers with bringing these to the UK which, with your help, we are working to overcome.

We are in a unique moment of ataxia history with the treatment pipeline fuller than ever. One drug is approved for use in the US & EU, two are in the approval process and four more are in Phase 2 trials. We MUST seize this key moment.
