Children and young people today face numerous life challenges, compounded by the pandemic's long-term impact and now the cost-of-living crisis. Consequently, we are seeing a rise in stress, anxiety, and isolation amongst children, and particularly those with access needs or disabilities. Children need creativity in their lives now more than ever.

Polka’s Access Programme enables children with disabilities to experience the magic of theatre, where they can explore, learn and have fun. We offer a range of adapted performances (including BSL-interpreted, captioned, audio-described, and relaxed), bespoke Creative Learning workshops for schools and groups of children with disabilities, and one-to-one support for children with additional needs within our standard programme of workshops. Help us make every Polka experience accessible to all.
