Situation
We are facing a crisis with hundreds of disengaged youngsters turning their backs on maintstream education, and turning towards drugs, gangs and violence. There is poor provision locally for youngsters Not in Education Training or Employment (NEETs) and they are losing their futures. Our Alternative Learning Hub (ALH) provides an innovative, practical, empowering and hugely successful, safe environment for them to navigate a postive pathway back into education, training or employment.
Solution
Our ALH is for 14-25 year olds, who lack support and have chaotic home lives and are often sofa surfing. They are low in confidence and motivation making school or college impossible. We offer bespoke year-long academic and wraparound enrichment, enabling youngsters to gain the skills and qualifications needed to return to education, apprenticeships or employment. By partnering with the council, social workers, carers, parents, and schools we ensure a 95% success rate.
