Beneficiaries
We target young women from minority communities in London who can't access mainstream provision. 91% of our beneficiaries are in receipt of Universal Credits. Young women face inequalities such as poverty, lack of accessible opportunities, poor employment, and social exclusion. Over 80% of women in the community are in low-paid jobs due to lack of training/qualifications, language barriers, digital exclusion, and gender bias. Training/support is needed to advance employment & relieve poverty.
We provide a range of vocational training programs, including digital skills training, for minoritised young women coupled with career guidance, work placements, mentoring, and in-employment support for first-time employees. These are designed to upskill young women, and support them to access, retain, and progress in employment. Our programmes are accessible, catering to the specific cultural needs and opening access to education for those who're typically excluded due to systemic inequality
