There are limited opportunities available for children & young people with disabilities to make music, and even fewer occasions where they can make music together with pupils from other schools in inclusive settings. They often miss out on live music performances due to accessibility challenges.

Our staff have received training in working with children with additional needs & we strive hard to make music more inclusive. We plan to take our Robin Hood Youth Orchestra (RHYO) into school/s for children with special needs & disability. By delivering lessons in advance we can familiarise SEND pupils with the repertoire and support them to play along with the orchestra.
