More women than ever before are reaching out to First Light after experiencing domestic abuse and we support high risk families during the most challenging moments of their lives. The referrals we receive into our domestic abuse service are constantly increasing, so we need funding to set up a Crisis Fund to help women and girls to leave their abusive relationships/assist them in fleeing.

We need to set up a Crisis Fund for women and girls fleeing domestic abuse - providing vital support to those in need of items such as travel costs, mobile phones, clothing, electrical goods, and moving costs. We need your help to be able to support women and girls who are fleeing domestic abuse to feel supported, safe and empowered to be able to provide shelter/food/clothing for themselves and potential children they may have fled with.
