We have a new vision for the future - where everyone has a good life. To achieve this, we want to change how wealth and power is shared. So we want to changed the way people think about inequality, to change the decisions people with power make, and to change where power is held.

UK society is divided through high, entrenched levels of socio-economic and intersectional inequalities. Our current system enables the wealthy elite to amass enormous profits increasing inequality and harming us all. Everyone suffers from a lower quality of life, and those at the sharp end suffer the most. But inequality is not inevitable. Everyone can have a decent level of income, a safe home and the support needed to thrive - when inequality reduction is centred in all decisions.

The Equality Trust challenges concentrations of wealth and power to create conditions where people and communities thrive. To make this happen we gather evidence, build coalitions for change, campaign, and support others to do so. We connect seldom heard voices with the people who make the policies that impact their lives, for example by training community reporters to gather evidence and insights into issues facing them and their communities and using this evidence to call for change
