Hope into Action enable churches to house the homeless. Homelessness is about more than a lack of accommodation. That is why we give people a ‘home and a network’ in which they can begin to build a new life for themselves, making it our mission to bring them into a community where they can thrive.

We are experiencing a homelessness crisis. Official government data reveals that 3,898 people are sleeping rough in England in 2023, a 27% annual increase on 2022. And rough sleeping is just the tip of a far bigger homelessness iceberg. There are 109,000 homeless households living in temporary accommodation and this includes 142,490 children. This is the highest since records began. Behind each statistic is a tragic story of a life ruined by homelessness. This is the problem we are solving.
Hope into Action provides more than a roof over someone's head. Homelessness is not only a lack of accommodation, but a lack of positive relationships and self-identity. Through our Empowerment Workers and partner church communities, we provide personalised support to each tenant, providing addiction support, employment advice and a community that welcomes and rehabilitates our beneficiaries. This combination of professional support and community makes us distinct from other homeless charities.
