We welcome 2,000+ children every year with their primary school, youth group or church group for a residential adventure on board our unique floating activity centre, Trinity. The bursary fund ensures we can offer financial support to all that need it to ensure that no-one is ever left behind.

Many families struggle with the costs of every day life and a residential trip for their child/children can be totally out of reach. By completing a short application form teachers/parents can top up the amount needed to ensure that every primary class child/youth group attendee can come to FACT with their group and experience time away from from home, learning new skills, trying new activities and having fun with their friends in a totally different and new environment.

In an average year we give £14,000 in bursary funding to 220 children. During the last 2 years we have seen a massive uptake in bursary applications, due to the cost of living crisis & families struggling with every day costs. Having the additional funds we desperately need in the bursary fund for 2025 we will be able to continue to ensure that all applications are responded to positively. We think we will need in the region of £26,000 alongside giving from regular donors and Grant Making Trusts
