Situation
Every two hours, someone in the UK will sustain a spinal cord injury, causing paralysis. It could be as the result of a car accident, a sports injury, or as simple as a fall. Spinal cord injury can affect anyone at any time and changes your life in an instant. The impact on you and your family can seem catastrophic, affecting every area of your life from your bladder, bowel and sexual function to your career and relationships. Adjusting can be overwhelming. People often feel isolated and alone.
