-People with learning disabilities, particularly autism, and with visual impairments can have difficulty processing and experiencing sensory information, causing distress or discomfort. -People with disabilities face physical and social barriers to engaging with nature and in social settings. This excludes disabled people from the health and wellbeing benefits of these activities. -Biodiversity is under threat meaning animals and plants struggle to find suitable homes for feeding and breeding.

Enhance our newly extended Sevenoaks Care Home with sensory outdoor spaces, featuring bubble machine, interactive floor projector, music, lights, swing seating, shade cover, BBQ and upgrade to the Sensory Garden. This will enable people with disabilities to: - have positive sensory experiences to help them cope with sensory processing and connect with others - participate fully in social life - learn about nature - improve wellbeing by being in nature - increase biodiversity and wildlife habitat
