Help us transform thousands of lives in rural Upper West Ghana. For 10 years, we’ve supported children to learn on full stomachs; created opportunities to build businesses and learn skills; brought disabled children into the light with support and love. Now, we’re expanding - and we need your help.

Situation
The Upper West region has the highest poverty incidence in Ghana. Most working people are subsistence farmers, struggling to feed their families all year round - many only eat a meal a day, some not even that. Hungry children don’t go to school, so basic education completion rates are low. There’s little support to kickstart businesses. And life for children with disabilities is unimaginably hard. These challenges mutually reinforce each other, trapping communities in a cycle of poverty.
Solution
We create opportunities through education, enterprise and inclusion, supporting individuals and lifting whole communities. We get children into school by providing meals, learning materials and sanitary pads. We kickstart businesses with grants and training. We get young women into apprenticeships. We bring disabled children into the light, with support groups, access to healthcare and education – and lots of love. Working through village hubs, we transform communities – one family at a time.
