We need a playground for the school we have built for 300 disadvantaged children in a deprived area of urban Mombasa.The land in front of the school has now been built on but we have found a walled plot close to the school which is ideal. We are renting it but need to buy it before someone else does

Situation
The school does not have a playground. Play is important to a child's development both socially and physically. There is no land close to the school where children can play, experiment and socialise in a safe environment. There is nowhere nearby for children to play sport. There is nowhere for children to grow plants; part of the new Kenyan curriculum. Nowhere for adults to hold a private outdoor function. We need to act quickly as there is no other land in this congested area for sale.
Solution
We shall purchase a nearby plot for use as a playground and for the community to use for private functions. We already own one third of this walled plot and are renting the other two thirds.
