CSSF will build on 25 years of cultural and educational experience, providing opportunity for children to engage with the arts. By taking part, young people who might otherwise not have the chance, will walk a bit taller, dream a bit bigger, and develop the confidence they need to succeed in life.

Children across the UK are facing a crisis of access to the arts in education. Worse still, pupils from less privileged backgrounds are being left behind by their more affluent peers at primary and secondary levels. To close the ‘enrichment gap’ and build the essential skills needed for life, arts provision in schools must be accessible to all. CSSF’s work to develop young people’s confidence, aspiration and wellbeing, no matter their background, has never been more important.

CSSF works with schools to increase their learners’ literacy, essential skills and self-esteem. Our Festival is transformative, through its teacher training, student workshops, curriculum resources and live performances. With us, every child can exceed their expectations and inspire pride in their teachers, their families and themselves. Providing a stage, we’ll ensure every child will have their voice heard and a chance to shine, developing essential skills for the future in the process.
