For over 4 years our visitors have been hit with the ‘perfect storm’. Firstly, the pandemic, and most recently, the sharp economic downturn. The long-term impact of lockdowns and shielding is still being felt. Waiting times for NHS cancer treatment are also at a record high and patients are being diagnosed with poorer outcomes such as advanced and incurable cancers. People are facing life changing decisions, exhausting treatment and emotions that can range from anxiety to loneliness.

Maggie’s support has never been more needed. We help families to take back control when cancer turns their life upside down – supporting them with anything from treatment side effects to money worries. Our non-clinical support helps people who might be feeling lost, confused, and afraid of their diagnosis by helping them to understand their treatment, access psychological support and to help manage the emotions and concerns. We are also here to help with any financial worries they may have
