Survivors of modern slavery and exploitation are some of the most vulnerable in our society. Recovery is complex. To overcome their trauma and keep them safe, we need to provide survivors with exceptional wellbeing, emotional and health support. Without us, they are at risk of re-exploitation.

Situation
In every town across the country, vulnerable people are exploited for personal or financial gain in care homes, nail bars, construction sites and car washes. This includes human trafficking, forced labour, sexual exploitation, child exploitation, or criminal exploitation. Survivors have years of their lives taken from them. Despite leaving exploitation, they need a lot of support to help overcome poor mental and physical health, language barriers, isolation, homelessness and financial hardship.
Solution
We offer a safe haven. We carefully build trust to understand survivors’ needs and respond in a holistic and tailored way. We listen to survivors and recognise their trauma. We are trained to advocate for survivors to access specialist support for health, wellbeing, emotional and legal advice. We support them to navigate the complexities of everyday life. We will deliver group activities to overcome their isolation, support their mental health, build their confidence and develop skills.
