Our Women's Advisory Network are a group of women with lived experience of multiple unmet needs, who guide us in our mission to improve systems for disadvantaged women and girls. They do this by sharing their experiences, outlining how systems/services need to improve and by campaigning for change.

Women and girls with multiple unmet needs (e.g. abuse, mental ill-health, engagement in the criminal justice system and poverty) are harmed by services that are meant to help them, leaving them trapped in vicious cycles of trauma and disadvantage. They are often entirely left out of processes where solutions to this harm are designed. Agenda Alliance campaigns for change in partnership with women and girls, centring their voices so that support systems more effectively meet their needs.

Agenda Alliance aims to end cycles of harm so that disadvantaged women and girls receive the support they need. Our campaigns are shaped by women and girls with lived experience of multiple disadvantage and our Alliance (over 110 members from national to grassroots organisations). Our WAN share their voices with people in power to drive meaningful change at local and national levels e.g. we secured a commitment for a Young Women’s Strategy after lobbying the Ministry of Justice.
