Safe Passage help child refugees reach a place of safety, by providing legal casework and arrivals support so they can reunite with family without risking their lives on dangerous journeys. We campaign for a compassionate asylum process, and run the Young Leaders advocacy group for young refugees.

Across the globe, new and emerging conflicts and human rights abuses have forced many children to flee their homes. Many have become separated from, or lost, their parents and end up making dangerous journeys alone, hoping to reach other family members who live in the UK. With few other options available, many children feel forced to risk their lives on dangerous crossings across Europe and the Channel so that they can rejoin their loved ones.

Safe Passage assists child refugees with essential legal casework, family reunion visa advice and arrivals support to help them access a safe way to reunite with family, without risking their lives travelling on dangerous journeys. We remain agile enough to respond to crises, including recent conflicts across the globe. We work with, not for, refugees to call for safe routes and create systemic change in the UK asylum system so no one feels forced to take dangerous journeys to seek safety.
