We aim to provide ICT training to 150 teachers impacting 15,000 students in Zimbabwe and Zambia. The project will improve the digital skills of teachers and students, help to integrate the use of IT into teaching and learning of all subjects and maximise the benefit of computers we have provided.

Situation
Schools lack the resources to provide digital training for teachers. Teachers have limited ICT skills, motivation and confidence to provide a positive digital learning experience for students. They struggle to teach the new skills-based curriculum. There are a lack of technical skills in schools to maintain and repair IT equipment. Without a digital education students lack the skills to use technology innovatively to help improve their employment and future prospects after they leave school.
Solution
Our goal is to train and upskill 150 teachers. We will provide ICT training for teachers to improve digital education for students. We will provide 5 day in person training courses specifically aimed at developing knowledge and skills to assist teachers when delivering ICT in education. In addition to learn essential technical maintenance for computers already provided. Primary and secondary teachers and leaders will be selected from schools by the Ministry of Education in a targeted area.
