Situation
we serve a wide variety of groups, and are struggling to meet their needs for storage, as well as providing full disability access, and facilities fit for purpose. Our hall transformation will enable us to serve the community better. We have so far made progress with upgrading toilets and kitchen and are raising funds now to address the chronic shortage of safe storage to meet the needs of our many and diverse user groups.
Solution
we are transforming very problematic space at the back of the hall into usable storage space for our preschool, uniform groups, youth club and other sport clubs: We are also replacing stepped fire exit with a ramp and safer access for our preschool users to the garden at the back of the hall.
