The Met exists to bring creativity and excitement to our community. We are a music venue, a recording studio, a home to performing arts workshops, and now a house of independent artists. We believe in the power of creativity to uplift, inspire and include, and improve the wellbeing of many lives.

Situation
We are a hub of creativity in Bury and a force for good in a town that is suffering from years of underinvestment. We want to open our work to more people and to keep our prices as low as possible. Donations cover our participation work for all of our community, allow us to keep prices low and help us to continue to support emerging artists, independent creatives and vulnerable community members.
Solution
Donations enable us to continue adapting our work to the changing situation & the needs of our community & enable us to deliver brilliant projects designed to uplift, entertain & inspire our audiences. Participation in events helps to entertain and bond our community together as well as reinforcing a feeling of pride in our town, alongside helping to foster a feeling of wellbeing.
