Let's Celebrate Deaf Women's Day 2025! will bring together UK's women who are Ddeaf, deafblind or have hearing loss, to celebrate our diversity & culture. Deaf women can access health checks, employability, talks, workshops on health & wellbeing and support for deaf female business owners & traders.

    Deaf women from across the UK want to repeat the successful Lets Celebrate Deaf Women's Day where 244 deaf women attended. Deaf women will travel far to attend accessible events with communication support. It is a great opportunity to educate them on domestic/sexual abuse and where to get support, learning on how to improve their health/wellbeing as well as accessing health checks delivered by our NHS-trained deaf female volunteers. We would like to repeat this event in 2025 to be held in Derby

    Let's Celebrate Deaf Women's Day 2025! will be organised by a team of deaf, deafblind & hard of hearing female volunteers, guided by 2 staff members They will develop events management/admin skills & confidence to bring together deaf celebrity speakers & tutors with help from communication support. Event will cover: domestic/sexual abuse & where to get support, health & wellbeing workshops, how set up your own business and access to health checks delivered by NHS-trained deaf female volunteers.
