In Ecuador there are remote areas with no access to veterinary care which leads to conflict between people, pets, and wildlife. Your support will provide equipment for an outreach clinic, helping to reduce overpopulation and engage with communities to improve the health and welfare of all animals.

Nature is amazing. From the smallest insect to the largest mammal, everything has its place. But, too often, we see the delicate balance of nature disrupted. Communities and their pets can be incredibly damaging to neighbouring wildlife, disrupting ecosystems, introducing diseases, and causing habitats to become overwhelmed and overpopulated. In some areas of Ecuador this is amplified by a lack of veterinary care, meaning companion animals numbers increase and diseases spread easily.

Our team of vets, based in Ecuador, are running outreach clinics for remote mountain communities to ensure they have access to free treatment for their animals, including spay/neuter surgeries and vaccinations. This will reduce the population, prevent encroachment into precious habitats, and stop the spread of disease. Your support will buy the equipment needed for an outreach clinic, helping to repair the delicate balance between wildlife and communities through veterinary care.
